CreativFestival 2010

CreativFestival in Toronto is just 3 months away. The advertising has appeared in several magazines and the booklet listing all the classes will be out in the next few days. There are dozens of classes listed for quilting, sewing, knitting, beading, scrapbooking and more.

Be sure to check out the CreativFestival Blog. There is information about all the classes being offered as well as pictures of the projects. There is also a short bio of all the teachers. What a talented group of people!

Here are pictures of some of the techniques for the classes I will be teaching. Kits are available for each class and sewing machines are provided in the classrooms. You just need to show up ready to sew, learn and have some fun!

Memory Quilts & More: You will be learning how to incorporate photos and fusible applique (faux broderie perse) to create a unique memory quilt.

Wonky Squares, Stars & Strips: You will be making samples blocks of all 3 designs
