On the Road Again

I have just returned from Quilt Market in Houston. I was helping my friend Pippa Moore in her booth and also checking out all the new fabrics and supplies being offered by the hundreds of vendors at the show. My pictures will be coming soon but if you check out the Blogs by Helen Stubbings, Daphne Greig and Pippa Moore you will see what we have all been up to. Just click on the links in the "Favorite Blogs" section on the side of this blog.

Tomorrow I leave for CreativFestival in Toronto. I will be in booth 509 and will also be teaching classes on Friday and Saturday. Stop by for a visit if you will be at this show.

New Fabric from LakeHouse Dry Goods

This great collection of fabric from LakeHouse Dry Goods was hand-delivered to my door today. I saw the fabric in the LakeHouse booth at Quilt Market in Houston and just knew it was my kind of design. I enjoy doing Redwork designs and it is really hard to find a real red fabric, so this one is going to be perfect! Thanks Holly!

You can check out all the great fabric and projects at the LakeHouse web site. Holly also has a Blog that is fun to read.

Houston Quilt Market etc

Here are my daily photos taken while attending the International Quilt Market in Houston. You can click here to see close-ups of all these pictures.

October 23: Clouds from 30,000 feet, just before landing in Houston.

October 24: This is Jane Sassaman, one of my favourite fabric designers, showing her new fabric collection during a Schoolhouse class.

October 26: This is Sam, a real Southern gentleman. He has been greeting visitors to Quilt Market in Houston as long as I have been going, and probably for many years before that too.
