Fanfare: An old design with a contemporary look!

My newest pattern will be available next Wednesday. "Fanfare" uses 3 traditional fan designs in a new setting. The fabric I used in the samples is called "Vintage Rosie" by Northcott. This fabric will be available in quilt shops next Spring. If you can't wait until then to try this new pattern, you can use up some of your wonderful stash fabrics to make a really scrappy quilt (You do have a stash, don't you?)

The fan shapes can also be cut from 2 1/2" strips - perfect for Jelly Rolls!

The fans are hand-pieced and hand-appliqued, so this makes a great take-along project when travelling.

There are instructions for 2 different sizes: 63" x 63" and 35" x 35". The smaller size is perfect for a wall quilt or table topper.

Another New Pattern!

Here are some pictures of my newest pattern called "Criss Cross". There are 2 sizes: 85" x 105" and 66" x 66". The fabrics are from the new Groovin' Licorice collection by Northcott. Although the pattern is available now, the fabric will not be in stores until late Fall. But of course you can always use your own fabric choices!

Hearts and Stars Pattern

The picture on my Valentine's Day blog yesterday was my Hearts and Stars pattern #240. (It's available on my web site here.) There are instructions for 2 sizes in the pattern: 45" x 57" and 30" x 30". It's a great pattern for using up your stash! The large quilt uses 10 fat eighths plus border fabric. The small quilt uses ten 10" squares (who doesn't have that in their stash???) plus border fabric.
