Marquetry Sewing Box

This beautiful marquetry sewing box is for sale at the Sherway Gardens Antique Show in Toronto this week. It is about 16" long and 12" high and is priced at $2400.00. There are many different woods and each piece is individually set in the design. An amazing piece of work!

Back Home Again!

I have been at the Sherway Gardens Antique Show in Toronto for the last week. Although I had internet access at the hotel, I could not access my Blog or my daily pictures server. My only post of last week, about my free pattern promotion, was done very quickly at the Apple store in the mall. I am sure they would rather have sold me a new computer, but the store was so busy, I don't think they noticed that I was putting a post on my Blog!

You can see all the daily pictures from last week here.
