Boutique 4 Quilters
Yesterday I visited a shop called Boutique 4 Quilters in Melbourne, Florida. What a great selection of fabric!

Oakdale Fabric by Mark Lipinski for Northcott
I have just started designing a table set pattern (placemats, table runner etc) using the new Oakdale fabric line by Mark Lipinski. What a great fabric to work with! The contemporary colours and designs are just what I need for this project.
Here are a couple of pictures of the placemats that will be part of this new pattern. The rick rack was fun to play with too!
You can tell that a couple of my fellow Canadian patterns designers are enjoying this fabric too. Check out Janet's blog and Daphne's blog. Not only do we enjoy working with the wonderful folks at Northcott, we now have Mark's great fabric designs as well!
