Garage Sale - Again!

On January 27 my Guild (Thousand Islands Quilters' Guild) is having its annual Garage Sale. Since I recently discovered 3 big boxes of fabric in my garage that never made it to my garage sale last September, how could I not rent a table? I will have many bundles of fabric, fusible die-cut applique shapes and lots of other stuff. How does it all accumulate so quickly?

$2.00 fabric bundles

$3.00 and $4.00 fabric bundles

$1.00 - $2.00 Fusible die-cut applique shapes

The quilting is finished and the pattern is published! Just in time for Quilt Canada next week. Grace Whiting of Ottawa did a great job of quilting the large quilt. This pattern will be on my website soon.

Sneak Preview: Opposites Attract

My Opposites Attract pattern will be printed next week, just in time for Quilt Canada in Calgary. This pattern has instructions for 2 different table toppers and a placemat set. I used fusible applique for the flowers so this is a quick and easy project. More pictures coming soon!

Paws and Claws

Here is a sneak preview of my newest pattern, Paws and Claws. I used die-cut applique shapes so it went together very quickly. The top is going to be quilted this week and the pattern is almost ready. Watch for it on my website soon!

Another New Pattern

I created this little wall hanging using flannel fabrics and my new die-cut applique shapes for the flowers and leaves. What a time-saver to be able to use the die-cut shapes! I applied fusible web to the fabric before I cut the shapes and so they were all ready to fuse to my background fabric as soon as they were cut.

Watch for the pattern coming soon.

How Sweet It Is!

Here is a sneak preview of a new pattern I am working on. The little hanger is by Ackfeld Wire and is perfect for this small hanging. There will be more designs using die-cut applique shapes included in the pattern, so watch for it coming soon!
